Health update
I apologize for my absence on the blog recently, and I’m afraid it may continue for a little while. For the one or two of you who are actually interested, I thought I’d clue you in on what’s going on.
I don’t know. What I do know is that I’ve lost 14 lbs and haven’t been able to go to work in 2 and a half weeks. Fortunately I’ve been able to work some from home and my bosses have been very understanding of everything. I’ve switched doctors and it seems that things are finally moving the right direction – test are being run, I’m getting referred to specialists, etc. But for now I’m weak and nauseous and even whinier than usual. I know, right?
Thanks for all of your concerns. I can’t wait till I’m well enough to have a beer again…

Good luck, buddy. Hope you figure out what it is soon, and get right on the road to recovery.

Yea, thoughts and prayers on a full recovery. The beer world misses you.

You need to write a book about your diet plan.

Get better soon, man.

Jonathan, sometimes words aren’t enough…you need a good song to pull you through the tough times….so here is a little ditty I wrote for you to the tune of Rihanna-Umbrella:
Now that you’re puking more than ever
Know that you’ll be feeling better
You can get over this salmon-ella
You can get over this salmon-ella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Over ths salmon-ella
(Ella ella eh eh eh)
Over this salmon-ella
(Ella ella eh eh eh eh eh eh)
Feel better man!

Thanks John A. I should let you know that it’s probably not salmonella, since neither antibiotic helped any. But your song is touching just the same.

I had a friend go through something like this and it ended up being Crones Disease (don’t know if I spelled it right) Don’t mean to scare you. Hopefully it’s just something easy. Good luck bud.
