Coolest groomsman present ever
I was in a wedding last weekend, which probably contributed to the salmonella fiasco (which is slooowly improving, BTW). Martin, the groom, fancies himself somewhat of an artist. He’s actually a genius with ceramics. I’m pretty picky about artwork and have no less than 4 Martin masterpieces in my living room. Now I’m going to have another in my kitchen. Check out my groomsman gift:

A custom-made MNB beer stein? How cool is THAT. It also came with a bottle of Chimay, which Andy stole. Not surprising, if you know Andy at all.

Now that is one nice groomsman gift. Sure beats cufflinks!

Stealing your Chimay? In the old days, that would been grounds for a duel.

Very cool gift! Chimay…now that is some good stuff. Have you guys brewed anything similar to it?

Grounds for a Duvel? When do you need an excuse for that?

Where was the wedding?

Andy, absolutely hysterical. Chris, Huntsville, AL. Where the <6% beer flows like wine.

For the record, I did not steal your Chimay. You neglected your beer. I only thought it appropriate to take it in after being so cruelly abandoned in my car. Any proper beer aficionado would have done the same.

Chern, by that logic, dead people neglect things too. Do you go and take their ‘abandoned’ possessions too? Any proper beer aficionado would know that Chimay ages relatively well. So instead of stealing it they may have chosen to keep it safe for when their friend got better.
But whatever. You say po-TAY-to. I say po-YOU-SUCK-to.

who said I wasn’t going to re-gift it back to you? it would be the classy thing to do… but now that you’ve ruined the surprise, I think I’ll keep it.
