The things Joel does instead of helping me

I haven’t decided on whether or not I’m going to make this a recurring column. For now, I’ll keep it short. As the ‘operations guy,’ (we still don’t know exactly what this means), Joel is one handy dude. So handy in fact that he’ll take on what seems to be a simple project without knowing what exactly is around the corner. Case in point:

Yes, that picture is exactly what you think it is. It’s Joel recruiting every able-bodied male standing within spitting distance to help him figure out how to make our cart bigger, better, and more cart-like. This involved combining the most desirable physical traits of 3 (three) separate carts. It did take longer than buying a new cart. But it was also more “free” than the alternative. Chris (in the foreground) always looks that mischievous.

For the record, Joel & Co. got the cart up and running pretty quickly. Also, I didn’t need Joel’s help with anything. I just like making fun of Joel. Don’t tell anyone, but he did more work than me last night.
