Beer for dogs: take 2

After a bit of spirited discussion on the subject of serving beer to dogs, it seems like this less-than-significant argument won’t die. Or ‘play dead.’ Man, I am freakishly good with these puns.

Apparently there’s more than one company venturing into non-alcoholic beer for dogs. This one is in Denmark. Read more about the company, which is sure to be simultaneously a PR machine and a financial disaster, here.

  1. Real dogs drink Flying Dog ales. It’s like Red Bull to them - it gives them wings.

  2. Yeah - I suppose I found myself with some Flying Dog ales, I’d give it to my animal as well.

    I just don’t get it. There’s a malted barley shortage and we’re giving beer to dogs? That’s like turning corn in to ethanol for driving!
