Two steps forward, one step back

We received some disappointed news from Jeff this morning. Apparently our dubbel might also have gotten infected with some such yeasty nonsense. This would mean that 3 out of the last 5 of our batches have gotten the plague.

Instead of brewing tonight we’re going to do a full-scale sterilization of all of our equipment, and hopefully we’ll be replacing a lot of our tubing and nozzels as well. We won’t have any of our beer on tap tonight (because of the reasons mentioned above) but you’re still more than welcome to stop by!

    Ouch.

    I know the pain. Replace all your tubing (and any other cheap plastic parts), boil EVERYTHING else, and then review every inch of your storage and sanitation procedure.
