In honor of MLK I’m brewing all day today. Trying to get three batches (that’s 30 Gallons!) done so they’ll be ready for the brew-ha-ha.
Come by whenever if you are in town and around.

A 30 gallon day? That’s pretty hardcore. Given that I’ve got a full 10 gallon and a full 5 gallon system, I’ll have to try that one of these days! I just need to up my primary fermenter capacity…
But that’s got to be a busy day. If I do 15 gallons, I can do it all at once (despite it being two batches, and it’s about 5 1/2 hours. I imagine if I staggered two more (mashing one while boiling another), I could do 30 gallons in under 8 hours. But I imagine you’ll be going 10 hours or more…
Sitting in the basement, I am waiting the carbonation out. Considering I used Teflon tape on the threads, I doubt it’s going to make a difference, but I am going to do it anyway.
We are three wild and crazy guys on an even crazier quest to open our own microbrewery. Join us as we chronicle our journey. And buy our beer in 2010.
