Tonight we brew an IPA
Enough said. Come on by. Email us if you need directions.
UPDATE: Tonight will be cold. Perhaps not as cold as Syracuse, NY, but – then again – it won’t be Syracuse, NY. So it’s really a win-win if you think about it.

Make sure you put on your sun screen! You don’t want to peel.

Oh – I should have clarified… In places that aren’t near Canada, it actually gets dark at night. So I don’t think we’ll have to worry about the sun. But thanks!

Are you going to reformulate the IPA to use fewer hops?

Hell, at this point I’m reformulating my beers to use less malt. I just ordered malt for 15 gallons of beer (no hops or yeast, I already had them), and it was $75!!!! This isn’t Imperial-this or double-that, it’s two 5.5% beers.
With the current pricing, I’m pretty much down to yeast-flavored-water…
Time to buy a malt mill, make friends with a commercial brewery or brewpub, and see if I can’t “add-on” to their malt orders to get back down to reasonableness…

We haven’t yet reformulated our IPA to use fewer hops. It might come to that next go-around though. We had to sub in some hops this time. Though Brad’s yeasty water is starting to sound pretty tasty…
