The best part of brewing

We did it. We brewed a beer. We started out a bit light on the ol’ turnout, but things picked up around 9pm or so. One of my favorite parts of Monday Night Brewery is the aftermath… after I’ve gotten my jeans soaked from Joel’s errant hose blasts… after we’ve done a shoddy job cleaning Jeff’s garage… when we pull up a few chairs and enjoy some beers together.
Last night we gathered on Jeff’s back porch, newly outfitted with lights, which makes it a lot easier to see. Between a bottle of our Laissez-Faire Barleywine (which is delicious), Avery’s 14th Anniversary Ale (which is also delicious) and the newest batch of our Weissguy Hefeweizen, we had some good times.
Maybe the times were too good… That barleywine hit me pretty hard.

Joel climbed a tree to get this picture.

that picture could just be you standing up against the wall in a log cabin or in a sauna with a very madonna-esque pose.

Yea I am really feeling bad for you Georgians and your temperate weather.
I would say the best part of brewing is the money and the women!
“First you get the brewery, then you get then money, then you get the women!”
