The last 2 gallons…
While visiting my parents in Nashville this weekend, I decided it might be a good idea to take care of some beer-related house-cleaning. I sterilized a bunch of bottles (we have 20 gallons of IPA to bottle/keg tomorrow) and I finished etching measurements onto the inside of our stainless steel brewpot.
I etched up to 12 gallons last time, but apparently we boil off more than 2 gallons for most of our 10 gallon batches. So with much precision and thousands of tiny vibrations pulsating through my body, I added an extra 2 gallons worth of measurement.
A special thanks goes out to my Mom for taking this picture, as well s 13 others that were not good enough to make the front page. She likes taking pictures of me. And who could blame her?
